Hi, I’m Amber!

I am an e-RYT 200, a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), and a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher with certifications from two different 85-hour prenatal teacher training programs. Most importantly, I am a mom to two young boys!

I began teaching in 2015, but I was fortunate to be introduced to meditation and asana at the young age of five. I also hold a master's degree in public health and behavioral health.

My classes are rooted in alignment and breath awareness. I take a lighthearted approach to teaching and aim to connect with my students. I aim to help students build strength, improve flexibility, and develop functional movement patterns, especially during pregnancy. I strive to create a sense of community, educate expectant individuals about childbirth, and provide support as they navigate the changes of pregnancy. In addition to guiding students through physical postures, I introduce techniques such as mantra and breathwork, equipping them with valuable tools for labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

  • Amber is a yoga instructor who gets everything right. She is genuine and kind. She has a nice voice and talks just the right amount during class. And most wonderfully, she attends to every detail. She makes sure that each of her students is doing the poses correctly, from the basic to the complex. Yoga is not just a job to her. She cares about the practice and the welfare of her students.  – Adele

  • Amber is a truly talented and exceptional teacher. During her time in the Prenatal Yoga Center teacher training, it was immediately clear that she possessed a rare combination of passion, skill, and deep dedication to her students. Even while she was still a trainee, Amber stood out for her ability to create a supportive, empowering space and to skillfully adapt her teaching to meet the needs of her students. She brings warmth, expertise, and genuine care to every class she leads. Amber is truly a gift to her teaching community, and I am so excited to see the positive impact she continues to make. - Deb, founder and owner of Prenatal Yoga Center

  • With my second pregnancy, my body was extremely tense and sore, and not to mention how stressed I was with a toddler and another little one on the way. Thankfully, I found Amber and absolutely loved her prenatal classes and overall holistic approach. Each class started with a check in which helped me remember to touch base with myself and get to hear from other mothers at various points in their own journey. Then, Amber would lead us through a balanced session that met me wherever I was at, whether I needed a slower pace or was ready to push myself (safely) a little more. Amber is an amazingly in tune and supportive instructor and taking her classes both strengthened my practice overall and allowed me to make some great mom connections! - Lana

  • Practicing yoga with Amber has been one of the most grounding and uplifting experiences of my wellness journey. I’ve had the joy of learning from her in both vinyasa and prenatal yoga, and her classes have been a true gift during every stage of life.

She brings so much passion, presence, and deep knowledge to her teaching. Whether I was moving through an energizing vinyasa flow or nurturing my body during pregnancy, she created a space that felt welcoming, supportive, and empowering. She listens with care, meets you exactly where you are, and guides you with a non-judgmental approach that makes you feel seen and safe.

Her cues are thoughtful and clear, and she always offers modifications that make it easy for anyone, no matter your level of experience, to feel successful and connected in their body. After every class, I left feeling stronger, calmer, and more at home in myself.

If you’re looking for a yoga instructor who’s not only incredibly skilled but also deeply compassionate and intuitive, I wholeheartedly recommend Amber. - Caroline
